Staff Nurse II

The Staff Nurse II - Telemetry Specialist is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients and their families in compliance with the standards for care at AHMC Healthcare and the Nurse Practice Act.
Key Responsibilities:
Continuously monitor and interpret patients' vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation, using telemetry equipment.
Analyze and interpret data from monitoring devices, recognizing any abnormalities or changes in patients' conditions. Report findings to the healthcare team.
Maintain effective communication with the healthcare team, including physicians, other nurses, and support staff. Provide updates on patient status and collaborate on care plans.
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical records. Keep detailed records of telemetry data and any changes in the patient's condition.
Requirements:
Current California licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
Current Basic Life Support certification required.
Current ACLS certification.
