Staff Nurse II

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse II to join our team in the Critical Care Unit at Alameda Hospital. As a Staff Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and ADLs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
- Minimum 6 months experience as a Registered Nurse I with AHS or equivalent experience in a comparable setting
- Basic Life Support Certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification issued by the American Heart Association (for nurses in the Emergency Department, OR, PACU, CCU, or Telemetry)
