As a Staff Nurse II in our Med/Surg unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and document patient data through interviews, observations, and other methods to inform patient care plans.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans that address the physical, emotional, and educational needs of patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit performance.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care that meets the needs of patients and their families.
- Current California RN license
- Minimum of 6 months acute care experience within the past 5 years
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS for healthcare providers
- AHA PALS required within 3 months of hire date or transfer to Med/Surg Unit
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
