We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary pediatric outpatient rehabilitation team at Inova Fairfax Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience treating outpatient pediatrics and be available to work at least 2 days per week, with after-school hours (3pm-6-6:30pm) preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients, incorporating evidence-based practices and modalities.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and re-evaluations, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, medical staff, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in a clear, concise, and timely manner, adhering to department policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to provide education and training to patients and families, promoting empowerment and self-management.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
