About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PowerBI Data Modeler and Developer to join our team at Sunrise Systems, Inc. as a key member of our Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex data models and reports using PowerBI and other data visualization tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Provide production support for critical platforms and reporting tools, including data warehouses and applications.
  • Engage with leadership to develop and deliver strategic plans for support infrastructure and capacity.
  • Lead ideation and scope definition workshops, value proposition, and business cases, as well as functional roadmaps and project plans.
  • Help implement strategy and roadmap for Client Services reporting and application infrastructure, including analysis support.
  • Assist in efforts to streamline and automate data collection, management, and analysis for business benefit.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience with project management principles, continuous improvement, and strong analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, such as Oracle EBS or equivalent.
  • Required experience with relational databases and SQL languages, such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.
  • Experience with ETL tools, such as SQL Integration Services (SSIS) and/or Informatica Cloud.
  • Required experience in data visualization tools, such as SQL Reporting Services (SSRS), PowerBI, OBIEE, Spotfire, Tableau, or equivalent.
  • Experience automating business processes with tools such as MS Power Automate and/or UI Path Studio.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Access Databases, SharePoint, VM Server management, and basic maintenance.
  • Experienced with Python development, Web development experience, such as HTML, PHP, Java, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Oracle APEX (Application Express).
