Wellness Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wellness Director to lead our team in shaping the health and happiness of our residents. As a key member of our senior living community, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and engaging environment that fosters overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of dedicated professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional resident care.
  • Coordinate and implement Resident Care Programs, ensuring compliance with state regulations and Volante Senior Living policies.
  • Conduct thorough pre-admission screenings and assessments, demonstrating empathy and understanding in interactions with residents and families.
  • Evaluate resident care needs and determine the required level of care, adapting to changes in conditions and ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident changes, requests, and irregularities, ensuring comprehensive and personalized care.
  • Update medical charts and care plans to reflect resident needs and preferences, promoting a culture of resident-centered care.
  • Monitor residents' health status, taking proactive measures within your scope of practice to prevent and address potential issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or associate's degree in a related field, such as business administration, hospitality, gerontology, or a related field.
  • Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) with an unencumbered license to practice nursing within the state of application.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in resident care and team leadership.
  • Prior care experience in an assisted living community or skilled nursing facility, with a deep understanding of state regulations and best practices.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certification, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
  • Reliable transportation, automobile insurance as required by law, and a valid driver's license, with a focus on safety and responsibility.
