Job Summary
Centstone is seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a Healthcare Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a psychiatric setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and Develop Care Plans: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health status and develop individualized care plans to address their unique needs.
- Administer Medications and Treatments: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor Patient Condition: Continuously monitor patients for changes in condition and respond promptly to crises, providing emergency care as needed.
- Provide Therapeutic Support: Offer emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Current RN License: Possess a current RN license in the state of practice.
- Psychiatric Nursing Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in psychiatric nursing, with a strong focus on assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- EPIC Experience Preferred: Possess experience with EPIC, with a strong understanding of its functionality and applications.
- Crisis Intervention Training: Possess crisis intervention training, with the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.

- Proficiency in Patient Assessment: Possess strong skills in patient assessment, with the ability to identify and address unique patient needs.
- Knowledge of Psychiatric Medications: Have a thorough understanding of psychiatric medications and treatment protocols, with the ability to administer and monitor effectively.
