Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Assist with Medication Management: Administer medications and assist with medication management as directed by licensed nursing staff.
  • Support Resident Safety and Security: Ensure a safe and secure environment for residents, including maintaining a clean and organized living space and reporting any safety concerns to management.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate resident needs and concerns to licensed nursing staff and other healthcare team members, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in Care Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring resident needs are met and goals are achieved.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification: Must hold current CNA certification in the state of employment.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
