Senior Project Controls Specialist
AGS Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Controls Specialist with over a decade of experience in managing projects related to Airport Infrastructure, Transit Systems, and Public Works. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in overseeing project controls for significant public-sector initiatives, particularly within the aviation sector.
This role requires on-site project engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate baseline and monthly progress schedules, collaborating with the team to generate comprehensive monthly reports.
- Conduct independent Time Impact Analysis (TIA) in-house, including a thorough review of the design-build contractor's assessments.
- Monitor workforce allocation against project expenditures.
- Deliver and present cost and schedule management for extensive programs, along with risk assessment.
- Utilize the project management information system provided by the Airport effectively.
- Provide insights on schedule risk implications and strategies to mitigate adverse effects.
- Engage professionally with the Airport's Capital Program Support Services Consultant.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of recent experience managing large-scale construction projects in Transportation, Aviation, and Airport facilities. Familiarity with aviation-related projects, especially those executed through Integrated Project Delivery Methods, is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities (both written and verbal).
- A collaborative team player, capable of thriving in a cooperative environment.
- Proficient in Primavera P6.
- LEED AP certification is a plus.
- Security clearance may be necessary.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the Aviation or Transportation sectors.
- Familiarity with secure operational environments.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement.
- Professional licensure is desirable.
