Facility Operations Supervisor

Position Overview: The Facility Operations Supervisor is tasked with ensuring that all members experience outstanding service from a cheerful and welcoming team in a well-kept and organized environment. This role encompasses the recruitment, training, and oversight of all front desk personnel, children's club staff, cleaning crews, juice bar attendants, and maintenance workers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly operational revenue targets, including retail sales, supplements, juice bar income, and non-commissioned revenue streams.
- Focus on enhancing member retention by promoting exceptional member experiences and efficient operational procedures.
- Recruit, train, and cultivate a competent operational team across various functions including front desk, children's club, juice bar, maintenance, and cleaning services.
- Ensure a safe and pristine facility for all members and staff, verifying that all equipment is properly maintained.
- Guarantee that team members consistently demonstrate friendliness, cleanliness, punctuality, and adherence to dress codes.
- Address member concerns and complaints professionally, adhering to corporate and club guidelines.
- Monitor facility conditions and equipment, addressing or escalating issues that may impact the member experience, and provide guidance to cleaning services.
- Foster a culture of shared responsibility and teamwork across all club functions to enhance the experiences of both members and staff.
- Manage the collection of electronic funds transfer (EFT) dues, including follow-up calls for overdue accounts and invalid credit card issues.
- Ensure optimal merchandising and display of retail products, following company policies for merchandise transfers.
- Conduct compliance checks by monitoring club systems and employee performance.
- Ensure adherence to established procedures including point-of-sale operations, desk setup, file organization, member check-in, class check-in, telephone inquiries, guest registration, cash handling, and member ID card issuance.
- Maintain an organized back office environment.
- Complete daily banking deposits on weekdays.
- Order and manage inventory supplies effectively.
- Oversee point-of-sale operations and compile daily and weekly revenue reports.
- Ensure proper inventory receiving and control activities in line with company guidelines, and prepare inventory reports.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and a willingness to take on leadership roles in various situations.
- Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills, thriving in a dynamic environment.
- Highly motivated and proactive in approach.
- Understanding of food and beverage operations is advantageous.
- Availability to work during days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred experience in food and beverage service, as well as in health clubs or the hospitality sector.
- Certification in Serve Safe or Food Handlers must be obtained within the first month of employment.
- Current CPR/AED certification is required.
- State-specific certification may be necessary.
- Completion of Kid's Club Attendant training is required prior to independent work in the Kid's Club.
This position is managed by an independently owned franchisee. All hiring decisions will be made by the franchise management. Inquiries regarding employment should be directed to the franchise location.
