Meritage Homes, in partnership with Carefree Title Agency, Inc., is seeking part-time Escrow Support Specialists.

The Escrow Support Specialist plays a crucial role in setting up new escrow accounts and managing escrow documentation in line with established protocols.
  • Initiate new builder escrows using the Qualia system, which involves the initial entry of contract details and the digitization of contract documents for various states.
  • Request statements from Homeowners Association Management Companies.
  • Order and distribute title commitments and lender title requests.
  • Upload and manage all items received through Qualia Work Queues.
  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks to facilitate the escrow process.
  • Comply with the regulations governing escrow operations.
*This position is primarily remote, offering part-time hours ranging from 10 to 25 hours per week.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in escrow services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret purchase agreements.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Team-oriented with the capability to work independently.
