The Role

We are seeking a Project Controls Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project control team, you will be responsible for providing scheduling support services to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor construction CPM schedules
  • Review project documents and specifications to accurately develop baseline schedules
  • Perform progress schedule updates and provide comprehensive reporting
  • Review project schedules and provide recommendations based on execution goals
  • Conduct site walks and prepare monthly reporting packages
  • Review contractor's progress and present to management
  • Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to support the program
  • Cost and resource management and reporting
  • Identification and evaluation of risk and impacts within project schedules
  • Communicate project status and challenges effectively
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Five or more years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling within the vertical construction industry
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6
  • Ability to accurately interpret construction documents
  • Knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequences
  • Experience developing construction project schedules for projects over $100M
  • Cost and resource management and reporting
  • Familiarity with contractual clauses as they apply to planning and scheduling
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
