Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Review Officer to join our team at Community Bank NA. As a key member of our credit risk management team, you will be responsible for performing thorough credit reviews to analyze adherence to loan policy and procedure, credit quality collateral valuation, accuracy of core operating system as it relates to loan structure/pricing, and loan documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct independent reviews of commercial loan portfolios to ensure compliance with Bank policy and procedure, as well as adherence to industry best practices and the Bank's risk appetite.
  • Generate Loan Review work papers and other reports as needed to fully analyze each credit assigned in the portfolio.
  • Work with minimal supervision to meet established production requirements and review schedule deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with lenders and management to discuss issues, criticisms, and conclusions related to risk rating conclusions.
Requirements
  • BS or BA degree in a business-related field of study (e.g., Finance, Management, Economics, Accounting) required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of commercial credit experience and ten (10) years of combined commercial lending, commercial credit, special assets, and/or loan review experience required.
  • Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills; a thorough knowledge of current bank lending principles, policies, and practices.
