This position is a key component of our organization's efforts to support families in need. As a Family Mentor, you will work closely with social workers and other community providers to provide mentoring services to clients receiving substance abuse treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess client situations, capabilities, and problems to determine what services are required to meet their needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies for prevention and building strong partnerships with community providers.
  • Provide mentoring services to clients, including support and guidance in achieving their goals.
  • Collaborate with DCBS social workers and other team members to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting clients.
  • Assist in planning and implementing strategies for building strong partnerships with community providers.
Requirements
  • Customer service skills are necessary.
  • Extensive driving is required.
