Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field inspections and perform construction materials testing to verify compliance with project specifications.
  • Prepare detailed daily inspection reports and testing documentation.
  • Utilize technical drawings and specifications to guide inspection activities.
  • Operate testing equipment for various materials, including soil and concrete, and analyze data for reporting.
  • Maintain thorough records of test results and observations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and project teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to safeguard yourself and others on site.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of experience in field construction materials testing or inspection is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Relevant certifications may be required based on regional and state regulations.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematics and computer skills.
  • Ability to interpret work plans and specifications accurately.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime as necessary.
  • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record is mandatory.

Physical Requirements:
  • Capability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with assistance for heavier loads.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and discern sounds in a work environment.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Certifications such as ACI/ICC/FDOT are highly regarded.
