Job Title: Scrub Tech

At HexaQuEST Health, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Scrub Tech to join our team. As a Scrub Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.

Job Summary:

The Scrub Tech will work under the direct supervision of a surgeon to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of surgical procedures and be able to anticipate the needs of the surgeon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly sterilized and available for use.
  • Pass instruments to the surgeon during the procedure, maintaining the highest standard of sterile technique.
  • Assist in draping the sterile field and maintaining the integrity of the surgical site.
  • Participate in terminal cleaning of the room and preparation of instruments for terminal sterilization.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process.
Requirements:
  • Trade or Technical School (Certificate or Diploma)
  • Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
  • At least one year previous experience preferred
