Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recreation Advisor to join our team at Adams and Associates, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive recreation program that promotes health and wellness among students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a diverse recreation program that meets the needs of students
  • Oversee the recreation activities and ensure compliance with safety guidelines
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective supervision and services are provided to students
  • Document student participation and accountability during recreation activities
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and materials and control their use
  • Perform repairs on equipment as needed
  • Ensure safe practices and program compliance within prescribed safety guidelines
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates of Arts Degree or 1-year related experience working with youth
  • Valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements
  • CDL preferred
Working Conditions

The Recreation Advisor will work in a fast-paced environment and be required to sit, stand, climb, walk, lift, pull, and/or push, carry, reach, stoop, and crouch. The ability to lift 40 pounds and/or assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance is required.
