Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Recreation Aide I to join our team at the City of Miami Gardens, FL. As a Recreation Aide I, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and well-being of our park visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver superior internal and external customer service
  • Establish and maintain effective internal and external customer relationships
  • Organize and lead various age groups in general recreation activities
  • Help with the implementation of an after-school program, camps, family/adult programs
  • Perform custodial work as needed
  • Meet with the public and give information regarding park facilities and rules
  • Reports all accidents/incidents in a clear and concise manner
  • Renders basic first aid
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ten (10) months of recreation experience required
  • First Aid/CPR certified preferred
  • Valid Florida Driver's License required
