We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth registration process for patients, while also providing exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information
  • Register patients into the EPIC system
  • Obtain necessary signatures and resolve demographic and insurance edits
  • Provide patient estimates on potential financial responsibilities and collect payments
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience with hospital Patient Access/Registration and EPIC preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurance
Work Schedule

This is a part-time position, working two 8-hour shifts per week and one 4-hour shift per week. The schedule will include weekend and holiday rotations.
