Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in the Acute and Long-Term Care departments. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting our nursing staff, and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist residents/patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), which may include bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  2. Aid residents/patients with mobility and transfers, including walking, using a wheelchair, and repositioning in bed.
  3. Support resident's/patient's nutritional needs by feeding them, providing assistance with eating, and monitoring food intake.
  4. Aid residents/patients with medication reminders.
  5. Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, weight, and respiration rates, and document and report any abnormal results or significant changes to nursing staff.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident/patient information.
  7. Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  8. Follow proper infection control protocols, including hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
  9. Adhere to safety guidelines to prevent falls, accidents, and injuries to residents/patients and self.
  10. Recognize and report any potential hazards or safety concerns in the resident's/patient's environment.
Requirements
