Job Description

As a Brand Ambassador - Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products to tobacco and smoke shops within a designated territory. Your primary focus will be to grow new accounts, strengthen relationships with existing customers, and maximize product visibility and availability in retail locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Route Planning & Execution:
    • Plan and execute daily routes to visit retailers, ensuring timely and effective product distribution and sales.
  • Product Promotion & Distribution:
    • Distribute sample packages and seeder packages to shop employees or owners during visits.
    • Conduct follow-up visits to assess restocking needs, secure new orders, and deepen account relationships.
  • Customer Acquisition & Data Collection:
    • Focus on acquiring new customers and leads, documenting detailed information on sales performance, market insights, and account growth.
  • Market Reporting:
    • Prepare a PowerPoint presentation at the end of each week and month summarizing activities, sales performance, market insights, and account growth.
  • Budget Management & Event Promotion:
    • Manage a monthly budget of $2,000 for off-premise opportunities aimed at network expansion.
    • Utilize funds to enhance brand awareness by hosting events, providing hospitality, and inviting potential leads and customers to local events.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Maintain open communication with the Director and other team members regarding market conditions, competitive activities, and customer feedback.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize sales strategies and enhance market presence.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in field sales, brand promotion, or trade marketing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Highly organized with effective time management skills.
  • Proficient in using route planning software and data entry platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
  • Strong presentation skills with experience in creating detailed reports and presentations.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay

  • Base Salary: $5,000 per month
  • Base Commission: ambassadors shall receive 8% on each sale.
  • Sales Threshold Bonuses:
    • If monthly sales exceed $10,000, ambassadors shall receive an additional 2% commission on the amount exceeding $10,000.
