Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at an outpatient care site. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for performing clinical duties such as discussing symptoms, gathering and inputting information into the electronic medical records system, taking vital signs, giving injections, performing diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, drawing blood, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, and maintaining examination rooms. You will also collaborate closely with Physicians and Nurses to deliver direct patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
Discuss symptoms and gather information from patients
Input information into electronic medical records system
Take vital signs and perform diagnostic tests
Give injections and collect specimens
Maintain examination rooms and equipment
Collaborate with Physicians and Nurses to deliver direct patient care

Requirements:
Less than 2 years of Medical Assistant experience in direct patient care
Applicable State licensure in field of study (RMA/CMA)
Current CPR certification
Less than 2 years of Professional leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Bilingual
Hands-on professional experience
Experience with Electronic Medical Records
Experience with HEDIS
Active Medical Assistant Certification or Registration from the following: American Association of Medical Assistant (AAMA), National Healthcareer Association, American Registry of Medical Assistants, National Association for Health Professionals, and/or American Medical Technologist
Rad tech license (AART)
