Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Maintenance Foreman to join our team at Gomez Landscape & Tree Care Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and care of our clients' gardens, lawns, and landscapes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and care for gardens, lawns, and landscapes to ensure they are healthy and visually appealing.
  • Supervise and lead a team of gardeners to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and pruning to maintain the quality of our clients' outdoor spaces.
  • Provide lawn care services including fertilizing, watering, and weed control to ensure our clients' lawns are healthy and well-maintained.
  • Ensure proper irrigation systems are in place and functioning effectively to conserve water and reduce waste.
  • Plant and transplant trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants to enhance the beauty and value of our clients' properties.
  • Build and maintain garden structures such as fences, trellises, and pathways to create functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces.
  • Identify and address pest and disease issues in plants to prevent damage and ensure the health of our clients' gardens and lawns.
  • Keep garden areas clean and free of debris to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of plant care, tree care, and lawn care techniques is essential.
  • Leadership skills to supervise and guide a team of gardeners are required.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision is necessary.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure the quality of work is essential.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions is required.
  • Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members are necessary.
