Role Summary for Clinical Manager Registered Nurse:
The Clinical Manager - RN will report directly to the Administrator and play a key role in guiding and coordinating all operational aspects of the Agency, including patient care services and personnel management as assigned. In the absence of the Agency Administrator, the Clinical Manager RN will assume their responsibilities. This position requires availability through the Agency's office during operational hours to provide guidance to staff members. The Clinical Manager is primarily responsible for the planning, execution, and assessment of nursing and other specialized clinical services, ensuring optimal use of personnel through systematic evaluation of caseloads.
Qualifications for Clinical Manager Registered Nurse:
- Active and unrestricted registered nurse license in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a skilled home health care environment is essential.
- Key responsibilities include supervising field staff, managing referrals, collaborating with families and healthcare providers, formulating care plans, reviewing documentation, and OASIS.
- Ability to mentor field clinicians in best practice case management, including home documentation and self-scheduling.
- Strong management and leadership skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Capability to foster a positive workplace atmosphere.
- Proficient in problem identification and resolution.
- Skilled in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties as needed.
- A collaborative team player.
- Ability to manage stress effectively.
