Role Summary for Clinical Manager - Registered Nurse:

The Clinical Manager - RN is accountable to the Administrator and plays a crucial role in directing and coordinating all agency activities, including patient care services and personnel management as assigned. In the absence of the Agency Administrator, the Clinical Manager RN may assume their responsibilities. The Clinical Manager is accessible through the agency's office during operational hours to provide guidance to staff members. This role primarily involves planning, executing, and assessing nursing and other skilled clinical services through a systematic evaluation of caseloads and optimal personnel utilization.

Qualifications for Clinical Manager - Registered Nurse:

  • Valid and unrestricted registered nurse license in the State of Michigan.
  • Minimum of three years of nursing experience in a skilled home health care environment.
  • Responsibilities encompass supervising field staff, managing referrals, collaborating with families and healthcare providers, developing care plans, reviewing documentation, and handling OASIS.
  • Knowledgeable about the field clinician's role and capable of instructing best practice case management, including home documentation and self-scheduling.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Capacity to foster a positive workplace atmosphere.
  • Proficient in problem identification and resolution.
  • Adept at prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties as needed.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Ability to effectively manage stress.
