As we embark on an exciting growth phase following our recent capital influx, we are committed to scaling our operations significantly over the next few years. We are in search of a proactive Human Resources Director to lead our HR initiatives from our Las Vegas office.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Director will be the primary leader of the HR department, acting as a strategic partner to the executive team in developing and implementing programs, systems, and best practices aimed at attracting, nurturing, and retaining a diverse and high-caliber workforce. The ideal candidate will foster an organizational culture that aligns with our mission and strategic objectives. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, the HR Director will oversee staffing and talent acquisition, employee training and development, compensation and benefits, compliance with legal standards, employee relations, performance management, and the enhancement of company culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership:
- Provide strategic HR leadership and support across all business units.
- Guide and develop the HR team to ensure effective internal service that aligns with the company's growth and strategic goals.
Talent Acquisition:
- Enhance and manage a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to attract and retain top-tier talent.
- Ensure timely and strategic filling of open positions.
- Engage in the interview and selection process.
- Boost the company's brand recognition and reputation through effective talent acquisition practices.
Training and Development:
- Oversee training and development initiatives to ensure alignment with company strategy.
- Implement and manage the performance management framework.
- Design and execute career development programs for all organizational levels.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Manage the benefits renewal process, including vendor negotiations and plan selections.
- Conduct data-driven analyses of compensation and benefits to meet employee and organizational needs.
- Align compensation, commission, and bonus structures with organizational goals and performance strategies.
Employee Relations:
- Act as an internal advisor to management and staff on performance-related issues.
- Ensure timely and professional handling of employee relations matters.
- Manage employee satisfaction assessments.
- Oversee conflict resolution and workplace investigations.
Company Culture:
- Develop a culture that reflects the company's values and mission.
- Encourage a productive and enjoyable workplace environment.
- Implement policies and programs to enhance employee engagement and ensure compliance with legal standards.
General Responsibilities:
- Manage the HR budget and contribute to annual business planning.
- Oversee employee record management and HR metrics reporting.
- Ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with wage laws.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR regulations and industry trends.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 7-10 years of experience in HR Business Partner or Generalist roles.
- Proven track record in leading HR departments through strategic change.
- Strong communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
- Experience with HR management systems is preferred.
