Key Responsibilities:

  1. Examine donor records to ensure thoroughness, precision, and adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  2. Assist in overseeing inventory levels, managing stockroom operations, and facilitating the opening and closing of lots for usage.
  3. Ensure a clean and professional workspace.
  4. Communicate relevant information regarding work areas to management.
  5. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the area of responsibility.
  6. Safeguard the quality and integrity of products and samples during processing, storage, and shipment in accordance with company protocols.
  7. Execute plasma and sample processing in compliance with cGMPs, customer specifications, and applicable regulations.
  8. Demonstrate proficiency in sample centrifugation, label control, and documentation processes.
  9. Classify and document products based on donor programs.
  10. Support the casing, staging, quarantine, and quality assurance release of all products.
  11. Conduct quality control checks on various laboratory equipment as assigned.
  12. Manage product packing and inventory within freezers for optimal efficiency.
  13. Prepare and verify product shipments.
  14. Receive inventory and maintain the storage area for incoming supplies.
  15. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Availability for flexible and/or extended shifts
  • Exposure to blood-borne pathogens
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems and software
  • Demonstrated accuracy in documentation

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Capability to work in a cold environment for short durations
  • Ability to lift and move up to fifty pounds
  • Physical agility to bend, stoop, or kneel
  • Adaptability to temperature variations when handling samples and products
  • Regularly required to stand and use hands for handling objects and controls
