Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse Supervisor on our Labor and Delivery unit, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of dedicated nurses and provide exceptional patient care. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN to join our team and help us deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
  • Collaborate with Leadership, UBC, and appropriate team members to establish, implement, and monitor department policies/procedures
  • Facilitate unit goals, evaluate and individualize patient care, and provide direction to staff to promote quality outcomes
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPI's) and regulatory requirements for compliance
  • Provide bedside leadership and clinical expertise to improve quality of patient care
  • Assist the manager/director with human resource management to include evaluations, coaching, mentoring, recruitment, retention, education, and orientation

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
  • RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 Days of hire
  • NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 Days of hire
  • NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 Days of hire
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days required
  • 2 Years experience as a registered nurse with previous experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role required
  • 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience strongly preferred
