Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and consultative tax guidance to all professionals in the firm
  • Stay up-to-date on technical tax matters and disseminate information to tax professionals and the remainder of the firm as appropriate
  • Offer advice on corporate tax structure needs within our client base
  • Service a large book of clients and consult with other professionals within the firm on technical tax matters
  • Assist client service teams as needed, including manager-level review of files and participation as a subject matter expert
  • Develop strategic business development plans anticipating new tax service needs
  • Write articles and newsletters to disseminate tax law changes and issues to clients and prospective clients
Requirements
  • Must possess a CPA or EA certification
  • Have deep and wide-ranging technical tax advisory skills covering a variety of areas
  • Be skilled at tax planning and consulting
  • Possess proficient computer skills, with particular skills in building financial models
  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
