At Johns Hopkins HealthCare, we are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist- PICU to join our team. As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing medically prescribed services for inpatients and/or outpatients to restore function, minimize disability following disease, or injury, and to assist the patient in reaching his/her maximum possible level of functioning to assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her disability.

The job duties include providing assessments and treatment activities with patients. You will frequently require internal contacts outside the work group to exchange work-related information, and contact with external contacts will involve providing or getting factual information. Normal courtesy and tact are required in dealing with others.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current State licensure as Speech Language Pathologist, and a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (preferred). You should also have successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship, PICU experience, and acute care experience. Feeding/Swallowing experience is preferred.
