As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Manage all areas of restaurant operations, including marketing, human resources, and inventory management, to ensure that our restaurant meets the highest standards of quality, service, and operations.
- Guest Experience: Ensure that every guest receives the Eli's Service Style experience, responding to any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Staff Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date manpower plans, prepare schedules, and ensure that the restaurant is staffed for all shifts.
- Training and Development: Train and develop hourly team members through ongoing feedback and coaching, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional service.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory efficiently, accurately, and in a cost-effective manner, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet guest demand.
- Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that great food is served to every guest, managing all team members to maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
- Marketing and Sales: Adhere to marketing objectives by executing marketing windows, driving sales, and promoting the restaurant through various channels.
- Physical Demands: Meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, sitting, and lifting up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of prior restaurant management experience.
- Skills: Excellent people management skills, including resolving conflict, coaching, and developing others, promoting teamwork, and performance management.
- Certifications: Certification in Servsafe and Food Safety Handler Certification (or within 30 days of hiring).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Other: Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite programs, strong catering and events background, experience with bar service and knowledge of state and local liquor laws, and understanding of labor, inventory, and waste management.
