Job Title: Community Mental Health Clinic Nurse

Job Summary:

Rosecrance Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Mental Health Clinic Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to individuals struggling with substance use disorder and mental health issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise groups of clients and promote a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Provide continuity of nursing program services in an ethical, legal, and moral manner.
  • Participate as a team member in the delivery of addictions treatment services to clients and their families.
  • Facilitate the issues of recovery into daily living situations.
  • Assess physical and medical needs of assigned clients.
  • Document client service records in compliance with regulations and Rosecrance policy.
  • Communicate with clients' personal physicians as required.
  • Participate in Infection Control activities and maintain knowledge of current techniques.
  • Use medical equipment and technology competently.
  • Maintain therapeutic and professional relationships.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement activities.
  • Comply with Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.

Requirements:

  • A current Illinois RN license or LPN license.
  • Adequate written skills to complete required documentation.
  • Ability to present and coordinate lectures for clients, staff, or community.
  • CPR training or completion within three months.
