About the Role:

The Confluent Finance Systems BSA will play a crucial role in the Confluent Finance Systems group, supporting and enhancing compensation systems.

This includes day-to-day administration, maintaining data integrity and compliance, and managing enhancements to compensation systems, particularly focusing on payroll applications.

The individual will ensure all operational SLAs are met and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, collaborating closely with finance, people operations, and commissions users globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the implementation and optimization of Confluent's payroll systems (WD Payroll, INTL Payroll) and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather comprehensive requirements and develop sophisticated system-based solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for payroll (primary) and commission systems, including effective troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Lead or support the implementation of payroll and commission compensation systems, encompassing configuration, rigorous testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure strict adherence to procedures, processes, and change controls for all production changes and implementations.
  • Develop and deliver audit reports to the internal controls team and external auditors as required.
  • Maintain clear and detailed documentation on new features, enhancements, configurations, and customizations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years as a Business Systems Analyst, with a focus on payroll systems and processes.
  • Experience with commissions systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency with payroll and commission software such as Workday Payroll, ADP, CloudPay or similar platforms.
  • Proven experience in directly collaborating with users to gather requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, audit requirements, and best practices.
  • Experience with commission systems like XACTLY is an advantage.
  • Exposure to agile process and project management methodologies, tools, and processes.

This position has an annual estimated salary of $100,320-$117,880, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
