Job SummaryThe Business Manager will be responsible for the administration of the Duke Health community physician department, the Associated Providers Department, based in Raleigh. This role reports directly to the Duke Raleigh Campus Chief Medical Officer.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with credentialing, expense management, and physician call schedule oversight
- Contracting, committee facilitation, and other administrative tasks related to Raleigh campus physician support
- Maintain liaison with all levels of administration and physicians to accomplish directives and facilitate problem resolution
- Work closely with School of Medicine senior department administrators and the Central Verification Office
- Serve as departmental liaison with administrative and professional personnel concerning policies and procedures, personnel administration, and budgetary preparation and control
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field required
- Four years of related business or administrative experience to functions
- Master's degree in business or related field may be substituted for two years of experience
