Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Category Development Associate Director to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies that drive cost optimization, value improvement, and supplier relationship development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement category strategies that align with business objectives
  • Manage direct assigned categories and teams to achieve financial and value optimization targets
  • Conduct supply market analysis, cost modeling, and benchmarking to inform category strategies
  • Negotiate and manage supplier performance to drive value creation
  • Develop and direct the execution of analytical and strategic work to support category management
  • Lead the development of talent within category management
  • Provide timely reporting updates and support comprehensive business reviews

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in supply chain, category, finance, or related field
