About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our properties, including the management of maintenance activities, facilities management, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Manage the day-to-day work order system, ensuring that all maintenance requests are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Project Management: Initiate, perform, and oversee all maintenance projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Budgeting: Develop and manage budgets for all expense-related items, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
  • Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment for our guests and staff, ensuring that all safety protocols are in place and followed.
  • Aesthetics: Ensure that our properties are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Skills: Broad general knowledge of building construction, maintenance, and systems, including reading blueprints, HVAC, boilers, sprinkler systems, utilities, and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge: Life safety, NFPA, ADA, NEC, and general building codes.
  • Personal Qualities: Highly motivated, self-starter with great organizational skills, able to work with considerable independence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Degree from a two or four-year college or university.
  • Technology/Equipment: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and experience with MRI or equivalent software.
