Sanitation Operations Manager

This is an overnight position requiring a strong leader to provide guidance and support to sanitation employees. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of production equipment, plant facilities, and sanitation practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and provide guidance to other sanitation employees in the performance of their daily duties.
Communicate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance personnel on issues needing sanitation attention or corrective action and file accordingly.
Ensure that departmental sanitation work is performed in a safe manner according to company safety standards.
Train employees within the department on general and equipment-specific sanitation procedures.
Monitor production equipment for proper operation and performance.
Serve as backup to the sanitation Manager in their absence.
Know and follow all departmental GMP and SOP's.
Track and record chemical usage and other Sanitation supplies and consumables.
Responsible for overseeing employees in the room you are assigned.
Responsible for Pre-Operation Sanitation.
Requirements:
Previous experience managing others.
Ability to read and speak English.
Previous Sanitation experience required.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Knowledge of computer programs Word and Excel preferred.
