Job OverviewPosition Summary

Role Summary:

Under the general oversight of a licensed healthcare professional, the Patient Care Attendant is tasked with observing and supporting designated patients within the healthcare facility. They are responsible for notifying medical staff of patient requirements and may assist with fundamental patient care and nourishment.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Prior relevant experience is advantageous.
  • CPR certification (American Heart Association) is essential.
  • De-escalation training as per organizational standards must be completed within 90 days of employment or transfer.
  • CNA certification is preferred but not obligatory.
