Key Responsibilities- Deliver delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.
- Assist the nursing staff in implementing nursing care plans and providing patient care in accordance with the Patient Care Technician's skills and training.
- Participate in maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment.
- Obtain and record patient information, including vital signs, height and weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, intake and output, calorie counts, and other patient information as outlined by policy.
- Assist patients with mobility, including regular turning and positioning, dangling, and ambulating patients.
- Collect and process specimens for diagnostic or waived tests.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including eating and drinking, bathing, shaving, oral care, grooming, and elimination.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
