We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished scholar to join our Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) department as a tenure-track faculty member. The successful candidate will contribute to our vibrant interdisciplinary community, teaching and mentoring students in their area of expertise.
About the PositionThis is a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of assistant or associate professor, depending on the candidate's qualifications. The successful applicant will have a Ph.D. in Feminist Studies or a related field and a strong research agenda in transnational feminisms. We are particularly interested in candidates with a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in their teaching, research, and service.
Responsibilities- Teach and develop courses in WGSS, including core courses and electives in the candidate's area of expertise
- Conduct research and publish in top-tier journals and books
- Advise and mentor students in their research and academic pursuits
- Participate in departmental and college-wide service, including committee work and community engagement
- Ph.D. in Feminist Studies or a related field
- Strong research agenda in transnational feminisms
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching, research, and service
- Excellent teaching and mentoring skills
