Academic Faculty Position in Physical Therapy

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as a Professor of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science at the University of Minnesota. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neurological rehabilitation and a passion for teaching and clinical practice.
The position involves teaching a comprehensive course in neurological rehabilitation, including physical therapy management of adults with neuromuscular dysfunction. The candidate will also contribute to direct teaching and student mentoring in additional areas of content expertise or program needs.
In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will be expected to maintain clinical expertise and Board Certification eligibility through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. The candidate will also contribute to committee and professional service, faculty governance of the DPT program, as well as the Department, Medical School, and University.

Responsibilities

Requirements
- Ph.D. or equivalent in Physical Therapy or a related field
- Experience in teaching and clinical practice in neurological rehabilitation
- Board Certification eligibility through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties
- Demonstrated capacity for academic collaboration
