Company Overview: AttainX, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Windows System Administrator with exceptional communication and organizational abilities to provide support for our government clientele.

Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of three (3) years of pertinent experience in Windows / Hyper V enterprise-level systems administration.
  • Possession of a valid Microsoft certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or higher).
    • Alternatively, an additional year of experience may substitute for certification.
  • Proficient in managing Windows Server operating systems and domain structures.
  • Experience with Windows Operating systems that facilitate Security Engineering tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be a US Citizen eligible for Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Proven ability to deliver technology solutions in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of adapting to a dynamic work setting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:

The Windows System Administrator will deliver Windows/VMware system administration support to our US Government clients.
  • Oversee directory servers for system administrative network domains, ensuring security compliance with the Organization's Security Baseline Policy.
  • Conduct maintenance and systems analysis, including connectivity, technology assessments, performance monitoring, hardware and software support, and end-user training.
  • Install and maintain servers, hardware, interfaces, and cabling.
  • Document changes, develop plans and diagrams/topology, and present on administration topics.
  • Manage interfaces with external FISMA systems and services.
  • Collaborate with Network Operations Center (NOC) and Message Operations Center (MOC) staff to report and update on IT Infrastructure changes and issues.
  • Provide expertise in the Virtual Machine environment utilizing VMware technology.
  • Ensure daily and offsite backups of all server files, including user data, are maintained according to a prescribed schedule.
  • Migrate Active Directory services to common services, including servers, workstations, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and permissions.
  • Develop IT Project Plans to support IT Operational and Security mandates, including risk assessments and scheduling.
  • Install and support security agents and software, ensuring all systems are up to date with the latest releases.
  • Operate and maintain approved security tools (e.g., NESSUS, Cisco Firewalls, GPO in Active Directory).
