We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in Laboratory Services. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of blood collection and laboratory testing.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect blood samples from patients using various techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture.
- Transport specimens to the laboratory for analysis and testing.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Provide excellent patient care and support, including explaining procedures and assisting with recovery from adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely test results.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Post-High School Diploma or Certificate Program in Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant required.
- 6 months of phlebotomy experience or 200 successful blood draws preferred.
- Competitive hourly rate of $27.83.
- Outstanding benefits package, including up to 27 paid days off per year and immediate retirement plan employer contribution.
