Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform waived- to moderate-complexity testing as defined by CLIA regulations and laboratory policy in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Work under the direct supervision of a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Laboratory Technician, or Laboratory Leadership.
  • May perform phlebotomy and clinical and/or pathology specimen management duties as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred.
  • Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred.
  • Certified Phlebotomist Tech, MLA (ASCP) or Phlebotomy certification, such as PBT(ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Light Work - exert/lift up to 20 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. frequently.

Pay Range: $18.00/Hr. to $29.37/Hr.
