Job Summary

Pacific Coast Producers is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Supervisor to join its team at the Production Facility in Woodland, CA. As a key member of the HR team, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the human resources function, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, employee relations, and compensation and benefits.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working understanding of employment and labor law, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively supervise a team of HR professionals and seasonal support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all HR functions, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, employee relations, and compensation and benefits.
  • Assist with conducting interviews, selecting candidates, and making hiring decisions.
  • Serve as the acting supervisor for the HR team in the absence of the HR Manager.
  • Point of contact for employee queries, concerns, complaints, ensuring prompt and equitable resolutions.
  • Effectively interpret and administer the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) to resolve labor disputes and maintain a harmonious work environment.
  • Oversee leaves of absence, attendance tracking, and payroll related matters.
  • Administer reasonable accommodations for employees as required under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
  • Manage the discipline or corrective action and/or separation process for employees.
  • Coordinate events and activities aimed at improving workplace engagement and culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; five (5) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite and/or related software.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and/or timekeeping systems.
  • SHRM and/or HRCI professional certification preferred.
