Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our team. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for providing case management services to inmates in accordance with the requirements of the contract and the principles of the GEO Continuum of Care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in training for designated responsibilities
  • Utilize GEO's proprietary electronic case management system to record case management notes and track inmate progress
  • Develop detailed knowledge of assigned inmates and ensure their academic, vocational, and evidence-based programming needs are addressed
  • Resolve daily inmate problems and complaints through general counseling
  • Conduct regular meetings with inmates to provide assistance with rehabilitation programs and work assignments
  • Make daily unit visits to ensure informal contact with inmates and interaction with Correction Officers
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification required
  • Minimum of two years of experience working in a correctional setting required
  • Possess or develop a thorough understanding of the Principles of Effective Intervention
  • Ability to work with a team of professionals and implement team strategy approaches
  • Ability to prepare written reports and communicate effectively
