Job Details

This role requires an individual with extensive experience in experimental flight systems. The selected candidate will be part of the Flight Test and Integration team, contributing to the development and execution of flight test plans, as well as supporting the Certification of advanced autopilot systems and Remote Ground Stations.

About the Team

The Flight Test and Integration team is responsible for all vehicle-level installation and test efforts at Reliable Robotics. Regular activities include ensuring the proper function of mechanical, electrical, and flight control systems onboard the aircraft, as well as ownership over ground and flight test operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

As an Experimental Flight Systems Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing flight test plans in support of Research and Development efforts
  • Flying the aircraft in onboard and remote configurations
  • Contributing to the Certification of advanced autopilot systems and Remote Ground Stations
  • Executing flight tests, reviewing data, and ensuring system operation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 5 years of engineering, flight test, pilot, or other equivalent technical experience
  • 2500 total flight hours - Fixed Wing
  • FAA Commercial Pilot or ATP certificate
  • Able to obtain a 2nd Class FAA Medical Certificate
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $130,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to salary, you'll receive benefits including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
