We're at the forefront of vehicle software development, delivering cutting-edge AI-powered ADAS/AD toolchains, vehicle platforms, and autonomy stacks. Our team is looking for a skilled MBSE Systems Engineer to join our dynamic Off-Road Autonomy Team. As a key member, you will drive the technical direction of our project, shaping the functional, logical, and physical architectures of our off-road autonomy features. This role requires strong expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches, methods, and techniques.

Your Key Tasks:
  • Derive functions from feature descriptions and customer user journeys to build, maintain, and analyze functional and logical architecture diagrams.
  • Map functional and logical architecture diagrams to physical architecture diagrams.
  • Collaborate with developers to architect and model implementation details regarding physical architecture, including software module mapping to compute resources and interface definitions.
  • Ensure traceability of architecture diagrams to other systems engineering artifacts like Operational Design Domain elements, system and subsystem requirements, test cases, and evidence of test cases implemented in simulation and real-world passing requirements.
  • Closely work with other systems engineers to guarantee sufficient requirements and test case coverage.
Your Qualifications

To succeed in this challenging role, you'll need:

  • 4+ years of experience involving Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches, methods, and techniques.
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience working with SysML and Cameo within the automotive, defense, or aerospace industry, creating Activity Diagrams, Block Definition Diagrams (BDDs), Internal Block Diagrams (IBDs), etc.
  • Experience with functional decomposition and allocation, development of requirements, as well as verification and validation such as field testing and/or simulation.
