ASKA is an innovative air mobility company founded in 2018. This full-time position for an Aerospace Navigation Systems Developer is based at our facility in Mountain View, CA.

Key Responsibilities

This role will require you to design, develop, analyze and test navigation systems for the ASKATM A5 roadable electric vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) vehicle.

  • Develop navigation algorithms including linear and non-linear analysis, create design and analysis tools, and conduct mathematical modeling.
  • Develop six-DOF simulation of flight vehicle dynamics.
  • Perform system analysis and optimization, simulation development and validation.
  • Execute data analysis, document all facets of work performed, develop flight test plans, and provide support during flights.
  • Troubleshoot anomalies via data analysis, correlation with flight software operation and generate corrective actions.
  • Create and review certification plans, qualification test procedures and reports.
Requirements

To be successful as an Aerospace Navigation Systems Developer, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Flight Control Engineer.
  • Proficiency in software such as C++, MATLAB, Python.
