Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all Account Management team functions to ensure customer requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and mentor Pod Managers to ensure performance expectations are being met consistently.
  • Manage operations to ensure quality, quantity, cost, and efficiency of the department.
  • Monitor and maintain responsibility of associated teams and provide monthly performance updates to executive management.
  • Develop new business and grow the book of business for Pods.
  • Collaborate with the executive team and provide problem-solving and growth planning to increase the value of the entire organization.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in logistics or business-related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics/transportation with focus on business development and P/L management required.
  • 5+ years of experience with progressive professional growth required.
  • Freight brokerage or account management experience preferred.
  • Transportation experience in dispatch and/or operations preferred.
Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment and multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail and organized.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and present self in a highly professional manner.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
Working Conditions:

Generally in an indoor office setting; may include occasional participation in outdoor company events.
